Humza Khan
Founder & CEO
Humza Khan is a dynamic leader with a proven track record in talent acquisition and advisory. With experience across executive search, agency recruitment, and in-house talent acquisition, he brings a strategic and multifaceted perspective to every engagement. His work has consistently delivered strong outcomes particularly within the financial services, technology, and manufacturing sectors.
An entrepreneur at heart, Humza founded Talent Edge, a boutique talent advisory firm operating in Toronto and Vancouver, following over a decade of experience in corporate and agency environments.
Humza is passionate about the Future of Work, partnering with clients to navigate evolving market conditions, shifting demographics, and the rise of AI in talent strategy. He also contributes to his community – as a former Policy Advisor with the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s CYP, President of his university’s student society, and Board Member of the West Vancouver Cricket Club.
Outside of work, Humza is an avid follower of financial markets, real estate investing, and cryptocurrency. A sports enthusiast and frequent traveler, he enjoys exploring new cultures and perspectives. Driven by innovation, leadership, and impact, Humza continues to shape the future of talent acquisition in Canada and beyond.

Hasnain Raza
Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer
Hasnain Raza is the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Talent Edge, where he leads the firm’s brand, growth strategy, and client-facing communications. With over a decade of experience across agency, startup, and enterprise environments, Hasnain specializes in content marketing, demand generation, strategic partnerships, and business operations.
His data-driven approach bridges strategy with execution—enhancing engagement, accelerating conversions, and fueling business growth. Over his career, he has developed tailored growth plans for 200+ businesses with a combined market cap of $15B+, and cultivated a network of 100+ C-suite leaders, marketing influencers, and investors.
Hasnain has led cross-functional teams of 30+ across sales, marketing, creative, and operations. He launched a full-funnel marketing automation service via HubSpot and drove 15+ product rollouts in two years, spanning digital, TV, influencers, and paid media—earning majority market share in Canada’s investor marketing space.
Outside of work, Hasnain enjoys traveling, golfing, exploring new tech, and connecting with people. His passion for measurable results, innovation, and brand excellence makes him a driving force at Talent Edge and a valued partner to clients.

Emily Kwan
Co-Founder & Principal
Emily Kwan is a dynamic talent advisor with over two decades of experience leading executive search and leadership recruitment across real estate, retail, and professional services. Her career spans global search firms, boutique consultancies, and in-house corporate teams – giving her the agility, perspective, and depth to deliver real results for her clients.
As Co-Founder & Principal at Talent Edge, Emily is driven to reimagine the search experience – making it more strategic, more human, and ultimately more impactful. She’s led searches across North America and Asia, including building a recruitment office in Shanghai and managing MMA fighters in partnership with ESPN. Whether sourcing a copper formulation scientist or placing senior executives in high-growth environments, Emily has a rare ability to spot potential and connect the dots others overlook.
She thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and is passionate about building inclusive, forward-thinking leadership teams. With a strong focus on elevating women and underrepresented talent, Emily brings both head and heart to every engagement.
Clients count on her for her energy, market intelligence, discretion, and instinct for translating business needs into standout hires. Outside of work, you will find her golfing, paddle boarding, exploring new food spots, or unwinding with her partner and French bulldog, Chewie.

Bijal Patel
Bijal Patel serves as Executive Advisor, Capital Markets at Talent Edge, where he partners with clients on growth strategy, leadership hiring, and C-suite priorities such as executive succession, organizational design, and culture building. With over 20 years of experience in leadership roles, Bijal brings a rare blend of investment acumen, operational insight, and executive perspective to high-growth organizations.
Most recently, Bijal was CFO & Head of Private Capital at Nicola Wealth, one of Canada’s leading wealth management firms. There, he played a central role in shaping the firm’s long-term investment strategy, scaling its Private Capital platform, and guiding their national expansion.
Bijal’s expertise spans private capital, finance, and strategic growth. His ability to align investment decisions with broader business objectives makes him a trusted advisor to CEOs, boards, and capital markets leaders. At Talent Edge, he supports clients navigating complex growth phases with clarity, strategic foresight, and a focus on building resilient, future-ready leadership teams.

Maham Ikram
Maham Ikram is a strong professional with a background in marketing and business management, coupled with her Bachelor’s degree from the University of London (UK). As our beloved Operations Associate, Maham ensures that every client enjoys a premium experience, delivering seamless support across operations, office administration, scheduling, and recruitment coordination.
Recently returning from maternity leave, Maham finds Talent Edge to be the ideal organization for this stage in her career. The flexibility of her role allows her to balance her personal and professional life while continuing to grow and acquire new skills.
Outside of work, Maham is passionate about living an active lifestyle. She loves traveling, working out, and has recently embraced yoga as part of her wellness routine. Her enthusiasm for new experiences and her commitment to self-improvement shine through in everything she does.

Badar Khan
Research Associate
Badar Khan is a detail-oriented Research Associate at Talent Edge, where he supports executive and professional search mandates through rigorous market, industry, and candidate research. With strong analytical capabilities and a commitment to precision, he plays a critical role in building targeted talent maps, sourcing high-caliber candidates, and equipping consultants with data-driven insights to guide successful search strategies.
Badar holds a double Master’s degree from Capilano University (Canada) and the University of Hertfordshire (UK), as well as a Bachelor’s degree from the National University of Science & Technology (Pakistan). His academic background and research training have equipped him with a sharp eye for detail and an ability to synthesize complex information into actionable intelligence.
